I went home for the weekend. I did a little bit of shopping but mostly hung out around the house.

While driving back to New Paltz I was pleasantly surprised to find a great little show on Celtic music on NPR called “The Thistle & Shamrock“. I find myself listening to NPR more and more these days as its the only thing on radio worth listening to anymore.

As briefly mentioned on the radio show there is a “Celebration of Celts” event happening in the capital district on May 8, 2004. The website is rather confusing but it looks like a good way to burn a spring afternoon.

    1. Dancing like a robot at a disco, grooooove.

Really, NPR is the only quality radio on the air.  If i have to get my news, i usually just wait it out for All Things Consdiered.  That or i try and catch the Daily Show on Comedy Central.  Either way, celtic music is alot of fun to listen to :)
