I found a great political blog tonight called Dem Bloggers. The blog seems to cover the press from a Democrat viewpoint and often has video clips from TV news and The Daily Show. Make sure to check out this hilarious posting about The Daily Show’s coverage of a pornographer attending a Republican fundraiser.
I’d also like to point out I’ve been finding RedState.org to be a great read. It is nice to see a right leaning counterpart to the left leaning DailyKos. The great thing about both sites is the level of the discourse is much higher than “red meat” sites like Free Republic and Democrat Underground (neither are worth a link). Dissenting opinions and views are allowed and actually discussed (for the most part) without Karl Rove style antics and ideological zealots shutting down the conversation with bullshit. Update: Apparently I found it on a “good” week. After reading it for a week I’ve noticed it sinking down to the usual pit of horribly partisan article writeups and repeating of talking points. Oh well.
